IAR Systems Software Now Available for VORAGO Technologies
The complete C/C++ compiler and debugger toolchain IAR Embedded Workbench supports new ARM Cortex-M0
microcontrollers from VORAGO Technologies, targeting embedded applications with requirements for extreme
temperature and radiation resistance.

VORAGO microcontrollers are already supported by ARM Keil MDK and iSYSTEM winIDEA software development

New VORAGO Application Note Available
Timer subsystem application note available now. This application note reviews the Timer (TIM) subsystem on the VA108xx
family of MCUs and provides several common use case examples that can be used as a starting point for end applications.
The examples progress in complexity and include: PWM outputs, Periodic interrupts, Input pulse on a port pin measurement
and six channel PWM output suitable for motor control. Download the application note and the code examples.


Upcoming Events
VORAGO will present a technical paper entitled "VORAGO HARDSIL-based Process & Products" at the
Radiation Hardened Electronics Technology meeting at the Hilton San Antonio Hill Country Hotel on October 25th. Hope to

VORAGO are pleased to participating in the upcoming ARM TechCon conference at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
A technical paper "ARM micro controllers designed for extreme temperature and radiation conditions" will be presented at
8.30am in Ballroom H on October 26th. We would be delighted to see you there and will be available following the presentation
for any discussions.

Recent Events - RADECS 2016, Bremen.
VORAGO recently participated in the RADECS 2016 conference in Bremen, Germany. There were lots of interesting technical
papers presented and it was a great opportunity to meet many of our customers. A highlight for us was the interest in using
VA10820 rad-hard MCU for CubeSat solutions. The VA10820 is proving to be an ideal way to implement a very cost-effective
rad-hard programmable device in CubeSats under challenging budget constraints. The VA10820 can be used for C&DH,
interfacing to sensors / actuators and as a safety monitor device for FPGAs in higher-end CubeSat designs. The VA10820 is
priced to be a realistic rad-hard alternative to COTS devices in all CubeSat projects.
